Each of our classes has been created by professionals like our lead counselor Tonya Dawson. Each of our court classes is presented in an online environment and has been created by professionals who have paid very close attention to details when it comes to class curriculum to make sure that you receive the best possible education on the subject matter. Tonya Dawson, BA, LPN, CADC - Program Director
Tonya Dawson has a vision of helping individuals regain a sense of control and a positive outlook on life through sobriety. Tonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Chicago State University, Chicago, Illinois (2010) and is a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) licensed with IAODPCA (Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association, Inc. (2012), Licensed Professional Nurse with the State of Illinois (2023). Tonya founded and opened the doors to Dawson Social Services. Inc. This agency is located on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. Tonya facilitates psycho-educational and process-oriented group therapy sessions in a non-secular approach and also offers individual group therapy groups with a faith-based approach. She can treat and counsel those who need redirection and drives her focus to heal those in need. Tonya can also communicate with the hearing impaired through ASL (American Sign Language).
